“My mother, Lauretta R., was a resident for 11 years. A patient in the nursing home for less than a month, she passed away recently. I want to draw to your attention my appreciation for the wonderful nursing staff on the second floor. I visited my mother daily for at least two to three hours, so I had plenty of time to observe. Natasha, who went so far beyond her job description. (Presumably they all knew that mother was terminal.) Natasha not only did her job, but also gave my mother tremendous joy, love and care. She went that extra mile. The Sunday before she died, I came into the room to take her to Mass (Saturday had been a very bad day for her), looked at her and was amazed. She looked great; makeup, hairdo, etc., thanks to Natasha. What a wonderful person for my mother to spend her last days with. I also feel that Annie, Margaret and Kay did more than expected. They too showed my mother kindness, caring and excellent care. Mr. Carlson, you definitely have a nursing staff to be proud of. Thank them for making my mom’s last month as good as it could be.”
